Fashion Styling Course

This course provides essential skills for a successful career in fashion styling. It covers key industry roles, collaboration with PR agencies, photographers, designers, and fashion magazines, and the history of fashion. You’ll also learn about sustainability in styling and network building within the industry.

Information

Course length:

17 weeks if you study according to the recommended study pace, however, you can control your study pace yourself if you want to study the course in a shorter or longer time that is possible too. You have access to our study platform for one year.

Platform:

Our easy to use, learning platform is home to all your video lessons and all of your assignments. Our on-demand classes are selfpaced, so that you can study whenever, and wherever that suits you. The majority of our students work full or part time while studying at The Rose Room Academy. We recommend that you study one subject per week.

Course material:

All course material is included in the price. You will get access to the platform from the start-date. The course material includes Pre-Recorded videos, PDFs, E-books, presentations, quizzes, and assignments.

Personal Feedback:

You will receive individual feedback on all assignments. After the completion of each assignment you will move to the next lesson. We are available via e-mail, zoom, and phone Monday-Friday. Assignments are reviewed twice a week. For any questions regarding the platform, lessons, assignments you’re always welcome to email us and we will get back to you within 1-3 business days. To ensure that you have received the information correctly, there is a larger assignment after each chapter. This assignment is validated by our course experts and once you are approved, you can proceed to the next chapter.

Certification:

Once you have finished all the classes and passed all the assignments you will take the Final Exam. This exam includes both practical and theoretical assignments. When you pass the final exam, you will receive your certification as a proof of completing the course.

What admission requirements do you have?

We always start with an interview with everyone who is interested in our courses to ensure that the course is right for you.

All previous knowledge and experience are meritorious, but not a requirement, the most important thing is that you have a big interest in fashion!

How can I get a job in fashion after I complete the course?

The fashion- and the retail industry are currently in a major phase of change.

One of the strongest means of competition that exists right now is a service such as Personal Shopping, both when meeting the customer in person but also online. The fashion industry has different directions for stylists, and with a greater digital demand for content, more opportunities are also opening for stylists to get exciting projects and work.

Several of our former students today work in Personal Shopping and Styling for big companies such as H&M, Zalando, NA-KD and many more. But also, as Stylists in the TV and music industry, and styling for influencers.

The Rose Room gives you the opportunity to develop within the subject of Personal Shopping and Styling to get a head start in the industry.

What do your former students do today?

Many of our former students at The Rose Room have progressed within the fashion industry and today work within various parts of the fashion industry. Some of our former course participants today work with Personal Shopping and Styling at e.g., H&M, NAKD, Zalando and different PR agencies.

The course gives you the opportunity to make important connections in the industry and a good insight into how our lectures work in their fields. Some of our former students today work as freelance stylists for various projects such as music videos, cover photoshoots and styling/personal shopping assignments.

We have also helped students get the opportunity to assist at e.g., at New York Fashion Week, Netflix productions, photoshoots and much more.

How do I register for your courses at The Rose Room?

How do I pay for the courses?

You can pay for our courses via direct payment by credit card or invoice. You can also pay the course in partial payment if you wish, we work with Klarna.

How long are the courses?

If you study according to the recommended study pace, you can finish in 15 weeks however, you can control your study pace yourself if you want to study the course in a shorter or longer time that is possible too. You have access to our study platform for one year.

Do I get a certification after completing the course?

Yes, after finishing all the modules and passing the exam, all students receive a certification from us for completing the course.

Do you help with internships and jobs after completing the course?

We have helped several students with internships and jobs, that is not something we can guarantee, but we of course do our best. We are always available as references for our former students.
